Your situation

Scaling your business, particularly in the transition from seed to Series A/B VC funding, involves some painful internal growth. Building out more automated cost models, accounting software integration, contract authoring and management, and board reporting to set and meet expectation can be challenging.

What we will do

As experienced Ops directors, we can provide practical hands-on input to help you adapt and evolve your processes for growth, enabling you to better meet customer needs, and provide reliable reporting internally for your board. Over a 2-4 week period we review and assist with system configuration and integration, and help co-author internal processes as well as provide coaching and mentoring to enable you to implement a more robust and mature operations capability. We will create or update your customer-facing contracts as applicable, ensuring they are fit for your target customer segment and market geography.

In an increasingly digital and AI-first world, cyber security has never been more important as an existential consideration for businesses. Attacks can come from a variety of vectors, from social exploits and phishing attacks, to system API exploits and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. If your business works with AI models, particularly Generative AI Large Language Model (LLMs), there are numerous examples of AI safety failures, or hacks that have ‘gamed’ the system to drive unauthorised outcomes.

With the EU AI Act now in final draft and due for ratification in Spring 2024, there are a myriad of considerations and regulatory obligations that need to be reviewed and potentially adopted.

Depending on your business sector and geographic market, security standards such as SoC2, ISO 27001, and FISMA may become part of your customers’ buying criteria, without which you might not be able to secure your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) business.

What we will do

Starting with an internal review, we will work with you on a fractional basis from 2 weeks to 6 months, assisting with the heavy lifting needed to secure the minimum but necessary security certification. Leveraging 3rd party tools and vendors, we are able to quickly lay the groundwork and de-risk and demystify the process – and enable you to avoid costly and time-consuming delays and overheads.

By the end of our engagement, you will have either achieved the certifications needed, or have a clear plan with progress made to complete the process, depending upon your needs and preferences.
